The first FaaS AWS Lambda platform has been available for five years, but serverless is still not a popular solution. Also, it is believed that the serverless computing model is suitable only for high-loaded systems where instant and “free” autoscaling is required.

In my talk, I tell you what tasks you can solve now with serverless and why this is not just another way to launch your application but potentially our bright future. And most importantly—where does Ruby come in?
