As the product matured and demand from large customers grew, the team needed a UI and UX that matched the sophistication of what they’d built under the hood.
Validating product decisions with security analysts
The platform serves SOC analysts and threat hunters who rely on speed and clarity under pressure. We ran UX workshops and testing sessions with these domain experts to validate mental models, stress-test interaction patterns, and prioritize what mattered most. This gave the team a continuous feedback loop and the confidence to move from prototype-stage interfaces to polished, production-ready experiences.
Establishing a design system that scales with AI-native development
With a fast-moving product and AI-assisted development workflows, Daylight Security needed a design foundation that wouldn’t become a bottleneck. Together, we built a complete design system covering tokens, typography, spacing, iconography, and OKLCH color refinements. Everything is documented in Storybook. The team now has a scalable component library that keeps the product visually consistent as it evolves.
Redesigning critical workflows for security operations
Case pages, verdict explainability, evidence widgets, threat-hunting flows, and integration management are at the core of the product. These surfaces needed UX that matched their analytical depth. We redesigned these high-impact surfaces to deliver clearer information architecture, more actionable threat context, and faster time-to-value across the paths analysts use every day.
