The Lago team hired Evil Martians to strengthen and scale their engineering team, which involves:
Ongoing engineering work
After raising $22M in funding, Lago started developing their product intensively. However, hiring full-time engineers takes time and carries risk. To bring in senior engineers who could integrate with their team and contribute fast, Lago hired Martians.
Our team has fully taken on Lago’s culture: thinking features through before writing a single line of code, writing detailed design documents, keeping QA returns low, and using their communication channels. This led to Lago’s satisfaction and grew the team from one Martian to three in four months.
New feature development
Lago is evolving the product based on client needs and relies on Martians to handle many of the new feature requests. Examples of our work include adding metadata to credit notes, building custom roles and permissions, adding security logs, developing new settings for invoice issuing dates, building offsets and voids, adding wallet alerts via webhook, and rearchitecturing plans and products.
