TopFunnel is a single end-to-end platform to automate all recruitment processes—from sourcing and referrals to interview coordination and data analysis. TopFunnel acquired Teamable to bring social mechanics into their main product and help recruiters leverage social graphs of their own teams to facilitate warm intros. After the acquisition, the company’s goal was to merge these two products, built with two completely different tech stacks.
Evil Martians helped merge their Ruby on Rails and Python applications by migrating some business logic, data and features to the main product. This was a tough call and required almost surgical precision since both apps were live with a large, active user base. Moreover, everything had to be done on a tight schedule.
After the merging, they relaunched their brand with a new name: Teamable.
