Action Cable is one of the most noticeable features in Rails 5. Two years have passed since its announcement, but the framework still seems to be incomplete: tons of performance and reliability-related questions, lack of testing support, and heavy dependency on Rails.
In this talk, I’d like to discuss how we can make Action Cable better and should we expect a bright future or not.
