Year two runs two programs on one stage: small teams betting a new company on Ruby, big teams running it at scale. While one audience is in the hall, the other is in a conversation group, then they swap.
Three days, three jobs
Day 1 is AI-heavy: agents in production, AI in legacy codebases, the Ruby tooling for both. Irina Nazarova opens. Ryan Sherlock closes on keeping Fin’s AI agent answering 150,000 requests per second from a Rails monolith.
Day 2 is AI-light: queues, concurrency, real-time, open source, and the businesses built on them. Rosa Gutiérrez opens with two years of Solid Queue; Chris Oliver closes with “Rails: The Founder’s Unfair Advantage.”
Day 3 is the community day. No program: a walk, a bike ride, an ocean swim, a hackathon, whatever you want to do with Ruby friends.

Marco Roth on Herb, Peter Zhu on Ruby’s garbage collector at Shopify, Ben Sheldon on GoodJob, Phillip Campbell on the Sidekiq workloads running payroll at Gusto, Jason Bosco of Typesense, Jason Thomas on the Ruby stack that flies satellites.
Three Martians speak: Irina Nazarova on starting a company on Rails and AI today, Vladimir Dementyev on Ruby for AI and AI for Ruby, Svyatoslav Kryukov on hiring when agents scale and humans don’t.
Everyone gets a mic
Networking is on the schedule, not left to the coffee queue. You’re matched into at least two groups of 70 to 100 people working on what you work on, and in each you get 60 seconds on the mic.
